After analyzing the matchups and with the help of our Fantasy Pitcher Projections, here are several targets you should keep on your radar in fantasy baseball and DFS contests. Here are two options of lineups to stack, as well as a hitter to anchor DFS lineups and a streaming candidate in a top-heavy pitching slate.
Why You Should Stack the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday
The Cincinnati Reds haven’t exactly been a prolific offense this season, but they should be a strong stack as a group in Tuesday’s fantasy baseball slate. If you have the chance to group several Reds in your DFS lineups against Miles Mikolas and the Washington Nationals, you shouldn’t have to think about it twice.
Several Cincinnati hitters have been extremely successful against Mikolas. There’s Ke’Bryan Hayes, who has hit .348 with an .826 OPS in 23 at-bats against him. TJ Friedl has hit .316 with a .965 OPS and a homer in 19 at-bats. Spencer Steer has hit an impressive .438 AVG with a 1.132 OPS and a home run across 16 at-bats.
Elly De La Cruz hasn’t gone yard against Mikolas, but he’s hitting .333 with a .945 OPS against him across 15 at-bats. Last but not least, it’s worth mentioning that Mikolas has allowed opposing Cincinnati hitters a .341 average and a .947 OPS with 5 homers, 15 RBI, and 17 extra-base hits across 123 at-bats throughout his career. Do you still have any doubt as to why you should stack Reds hitters on Tuesday’s fantasy baseball slate across all formats?
Why the Atlanta Braves Are a Solid Secondary Stack on Tuesday
If you’re not sold on stacking up Reds hitters, you could always try to stack hitters from the best offense in the majors: the Atlanta Braves. The matchup against the Chicago Cubs isn’t favorable on paper since the Cubs have also been one of the best teams in the majors this season, but several Atlanta hitters have had success against Colin Rea (4-1, 4.03 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) in the past.
There’s Matt Olson, who has a 1.681 OPS in 8 at-bats against Rea. Austin Riley has hit .250 with a .958 OPS and 1 homer. Mike Yastrzemski is hitting .375 with a 1.625 OPS and 2 homers.
And the Braves also happen to have an outfielder named Ronald Acuña Jr. in their lineup. Feel confident about stacking up Atlanta hitters in this series opener, as they’ll also be at home, where the Braves own a .785 collective OPS, the fifth-best mark in the majors.
Why You Should Anchor Your DFS Lineups with Matt Olson
Few hitters in fantasy baseball have been as productive as Olson so far in the 2026 season. The star slugger has been raking for the Atlanta Braves, and there’s a strong chance he’ll continue putting up excellent numbers on Tuesday since he’ll be facing Colin Rea and the Chicago Cubs. Yes, the Cubs are among the best teams in baseball right now, but their pitching staff is depleted, and Olson has had excellent numbers against Rea in the past.
He’s hit .500 with a 1.681 OPS and 1 homer in 8 at-bats against him in his career. The sample size isn’t big, but the season-long numbers also project Olson to be successful here against Rea, who’s due for some regression after a decent start to the year.
The slugger has hit .294 with a 1.194 OPS, 5 homers, 8 RBI, and 9 runs scored in May, and he’s already launched 14 homers while racking up a career-best 1.031 OPS in 41 games. Rea has an ERA north of 4.00, so this looks like a matchup Olson should be able to exploit.
Why You Should Stream Zac Gallen Against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday
On the surface, Gallen’s numbers don’t look very good. He’s recorded just 1 win out of 8 starts, and both his 4.70 ERA and 1.49 WHIP across 38.1 innings are a bit disappointing. However, Gallen has pitched much better than what those numbers indicate, as he posted a 2.19 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP in 5 starts in April.
The wheels have come off in May, but this matchup against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday is excellent. Texas has the worst offense in the American League with only 149 runs scored, which also happens to be the third-worst mark in the majors.
Plus, with this game being played at Globe Life Field, Gallen’s projection should be even more encouraging. It’s worth noting that Globe Life Field recently replaced T-Mobile Park in Seattle as the majors’ most pitcher-friendly environment. If Gallen is able to resemble some of the form he had in April, he should be a decent streaming option in Tuesday’s top-heavy pitching schedule in fantasy baseball.
