While Marte typically returns strong value when on the field, the recurring expectation of an injured list stint introduces some risk, particularly for managers seeking uninterrupted volume. Additionally, entering his early 30s raises the possibility of gradual regression, though nothing in his recent production suggests an immediate decline.
Looking ahead to 2026, Marte projects to remain one of the premier offensive options at second base, with another season in the range of 25 to 30 home runs, strong on-base production and reliable run creation well within reach. His profile fits extremely well in fantasy baseball points leagues because he contributes in multiple scoring categories without carrying glaring statistical weaknesses.
As far as second base hierarchy for fantasy baseball points leagues, I rank him at Tier 2, only behind Jazz Chisholm Jr. and higher than Brice Turang, Maikel Garcia and Nico Hoerner.
