Junior Caminero: A Strong Fantasy Option to Boost Your Lineup
Caminero has been swinging a hot bat of late, and the Dominican slugger has as much raw power as anyone in the majors. He went 1-for-4 with a homer against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, and the star third baseman has launched three homers over his last five games.
In fact, over his last 10 games, Caminero is hitting .262 with an .843 OPS, a span in which he’s launched three homers while adding seven RBI, seven runs scored, 11 total hits, and an 8:4 K:BB.
Caminero’s numbers haven’t been as good at home as they are on the road, but that’s to be expected given that Tropicana Field is a pitcher-friendly environment. But given his power, and considering how well he’s seeing the ball of late, it wouldn’t be surprising if Caminero goes yard again Monday.

Swanson might not be known as a pure power hitter, but he has been one of the catalysts for a Chicago Cubs team that is on a roll after winning five games in a row and sweeping the New York Mets over the weekend.
Swanson went 1-for-9 in the series against the Mets, but he launched three dingers over his previous four contests before that. With four homers, 12 RBI, 19 runs scored, and a .703 OPS in 21 games so far, he’s been putting up good numbers across the board.
His .189 ISO is the third-best mark of his career and best since the 2021 season, so he could be an interesting player to target if you’re looking for a value pick. Enhancing this idea is the fact that Swanson has had good results against Aaron Nola in the past, posting a .708 OPS with three homers and seven extra-base hits in 64 career at-bats against the Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher, who will start on Monday.
Why Jordan Walker Is an Excellent Streaming Option on Monday
Few players in the majors have enjoyed a better start to the season than Jordan Walker, and he’s been a big reason why the St. Louis Cardinals have a record above .500 despite entering the season with subpar expectations.
Walker faces a favorable matchup against Miami Marlins starting pitcher Max Meyer, who has been prone to giving up home runs in his career, and Walker is also swinging a hot bat lately with four long balls over his last 10 games.
There are signs that Walker might be cooling off a bit, as he hasn’t gone yard in his last five outings, but the fact that he has seven homers since the beginning of April is enough reason to believe it’s not a good time to discard him.
Walker has hit .305 with an impressive 1.013 OPS this season thus far, and with a favorable matchup on the horizon against a home-run-prone pitcher, this is certainly a strong play.
