Monday’s slate in fantasy baseball has 6 games, but there are several angles you could attack from a DFS perspective. Here are options to consider as potential lineup stacks, a hitter to watch for in DFS formats, a streaming pitcher, and a hurler you should fade.
Why the Yankees Are a Top DFS Stack for Monday’s Fantasy Baseball Slate
The Yankees have been one of the best offenses in fantasy baseball this season, and they have a favorable matchup on Monday against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, a venue that is tied as the second-best hitter-friendly environment in MLB so far in 2026. Only Coors Field in Colorado ranks higher (112), and Camden Yards is tied with Target Field in Minnesota and Chase Field in Arizona with a 104 park factor.
Thus, this looks like a great spot for the Yankees’ offense to thrive, especially since the Orioles will have Brandon Young (3-1, 4.35 ERA) on the mound.
Stacking a Yankees lineup might be expensive in most DFS formats, but it should be worth the investment with names like Aaron Judge (16 HR, 1.043 OPS), Ben Rice (12 HR, 1.093 OPS), and Cody Bellinger (.900 OPS) as options. Jazz Chisholm (4 HR, 14 RBI, 11 SB) and Jose Caballero (4 HR, 13 RBI, 13 SB) are decent options who can provide value in other categories as well.
Why the Diamondbacks Are a Strong Secondary DFS Stack
The Diamondbacks haven’t exactly been among the best offenses in the National League with a .691 OPS that ranks 10th among NL teams, and their 169 runs scored rank 12th. However, Arizona could be worth a secondary stack in some DFS formats based on the success some of their players have had against the Rangers starter on Monday, Nathan Eovaldi.
There’s Corbin Carroll, who has hit .385 with a 1.275 OPS in 13 at-bats. Lourdes Gurriel has an impressive .308 average and an .896 OPS with 2 homers in 26 at-bats, and he’s also a player to watch since he’s yet to hit a homer so far in 2026.
There’s also Geraldo Perdomo, who has hit .444 with a 1.222 OPS in 9 at-bats. It might not be as impressive as the Yankees, but the individual matchup could be valuable in Arizona.
Why Yandy Diaz is an Excellent DFS Option on Monday
Diaz has hit safely in 7 of his last 9 games, a stretch in which he’s posted a .273/.286/.394 slash line with a .680 OPS, 1 homer, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored. Those numbers are far from exciting, but the potential is there. If we extend the sample back to April 21, Diaz’s numbers improve to a .296 average, .776 OPS, and 2 homers across 15 games.
Plus, he has had excellent results against Kevin Gausman in the past, hitting .467 with a 1.196 OPS and 1 homer across 15 at-bats against the Blue Jays hurler. Even though you could go with a player like Yordan Alvarez, Junior Caminero, or Aaron Judge here, as all three have a higher floor than Diaz, the Rays’ first baseman could be an interesting option either way, especially if you’re looking for a relatively low-end option to anchor your DFS lineups.
Trust Michael Soroka as a Streaming Pitcher in Fantasy Baseball this Monday
The Rangers have scored an AL-worst 149 runs this season, and that alone should make Soroka a reliable fantasy baseball option for Monday’s slate. The veteran right-hander is coming off a fantastic performance in his last start, allowing 1 run on 7 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6 over 6.1 innings in a loss to the Pirates last Friday.
Soroka has a 4.14 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP across 37 innings on the season, but if we remove his April 30 start against the Milwaukee Brewers when he was tagged for 8 earned runs in 3 innings, then his ERA and WHIP go down to 2.38 and 1.21, respectively. With a favorable matchup on tap and a pitching-friendly environment, this looks like a great spot to stream Soroka in most fantasy baseball formats.
Why You Should Fade Roki Sasaki Against the Giants
If Soroka is a name you should start across most formats, then Sasaki is one you should avoid starting. Yes, the Giants rank dead last in the majors in runs scored with 130 and 29th in collective OPS with .649, but Sasaki hasn’t shown enough to be considered a reliable arm.
Sasaki took a step forward in covering a season-high 6 innings in his last start against the Cardinals on May 2, but he remains the clear weak link in an otherwise strong Dodgers rotation. Sasaki carries a 5.97 ERA and 1.67 WHIP over 28.2 frames on the campaign.
