Why Taj Bradley Is a Top Streaming Option Against the Reds
Bradley is rostered in around 75% of leagues across all formats, but that means there are plenty of leagues in which he hasn’t been acquired yet. If you have the chance to add him to your lineups in season-long formats, don’t hesitate to do so. And if you can get him in DFS formats, he’s probably one of the best options to stream as well.
Bradley owns a 1.25 ERA, a 3-0 record, and 29 strikeouts in 21.2 innings. Strong numbers aside, the reality is that Bradley has a favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Reds at home, and Cincinnati’s lineup has been far from threatening on the road to believe it might pose a significant threat to Bradley.
Given that the Reds own a collective .589 OPS, which ranks as the fifth-worst mark in the majors entering Saturday’s slate, Bradley should be able to cruise and deliver an excellent start once again. He’s been one of the biggest surprises in the majors alongside Jose Soriano, who delivered another gem in Friday’s win over the Padres.
Why Luis Severino Is a Solid Streaming Option Against the White Sox
Severino hasn’t been at his best this season, and he took a loss the last time out when he allowed four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven batters over six innings against the Texas Rangers on Monday. Overall, Severino enters Saturday’s slate posting a 5.59 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and 16 walks across 19.1 innings in four starts this season.
Those numbers aren’t encouraging, but the veteran hurler has also racked up 24 strikeouts in that span. Fortunately for him, the White Sox are one of the most strikeout-happy teams in the majors, and they rank tied for 14th with 124 strikeouts in 15 games since the beginning of April.
Furthermore, the White Sox own the worst collective OPS in the majors this month (.608), including a .311 slugging percentage. This looks like a great spot for Severino to bounce back.
Why Will Warren Is a Strong Fantasy Baseball Stream Against the Royals
Warren didn’t allow a hit in the first three innings against the Angels in his previous start, but the defense didn’t help him, which resulted in the Angels scoring four unearned runs before he was lifted. There’s still room for improvement, but Warren’s early numbers have looked impressive so far since he owns a 2.45 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 20:6 K:BB across 18.1 innings through his first four starts.
Even though Warren limits his fantasy and DFS appeal due to the fact that he doesn’t pitch deep into games, as he pitched at least five frames just once so far, his results have been pretty good overall. The Royals own the sixth-worst collective OPS in the majors since the beginning of April (.658), setting the stage for another strong showing for Warren.
