There are several aces on the mound ahead of a loaded 15-game slate in MLB on Tuesday in fantasy baseball. However, if you’re looking to boost your pitching staff, regardless of whether you’re playing in season-long formats or DFS slates, here are three pitchers you could look at as potential streaming alternatives.
Why You Should Stream Robbie Ray at Home vs. Philadelphia on Tuesday
Ray is no longer an ace, but he’s a valuable pitcher who has a strong floor and not much of a ceiling. Granted, the Phillies are one of the best lineups in the National League, but the veteran southpaw has faced the Phillies multiple times in his career.
There are better options available across the slate, but if you need a late addition to bolster your pitching staff at a reasonable cost, the lefty might be one of the top options available on Tuesday. Ray has been solid to begin the campaign, allowing four runs while posting an 11:3 K:BB over his first 10.2 innings across two starts.
Why Matthew Liberatore Is a Solid Streaming Option on Tuesday
Another lefty, Liberatore has posted some solid numbers across the board after his first two starts of the 2026 season. He opened the year with five innings of one-run ball against the Rays and later posted a quality start against the Mets, allowing a run on three hits across six innings while striking out two.
The strikeout numbers are far from ideal, but overall, Liberatore has found ways to get the job done. The 26-year-old has given up just two runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out four over 11 innings, and he has a favorable matchup here despite facing a Nationals offense that enters Tuesday’s slate with the fourth-best OPS in the majors (.809).
Against current Washington hitters, Liberatore has limited them to a .222 average across 19 plate appearances.
Yusei Kikuchi Offers a Strong Floor as a Tuesday Streaming Option
The Braves have a strong lineup that could easily give Kikuchi a fair share of problems, but the veteran Japanese hurler has had some good moments early in the season. Kikuchi didn’t factor into the decision in his debut, a 6-2 win over the Astros, giving up two runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.1 innings while striking out three.
He didn’t fare much better in his second outing, however, allowing five runs on six hits and four walks in 5.1 innings while fanning five against the Cubs.
However, the Braves are neither the Cubs nor the Astros, and Atlanta will counter with Reynaldo Lopez, who has allowed just two runs over 11 innings in his first two starts, meaning Kikuchi will need a strong performance. While there are better options out there, Kikuchi could be a low-end streaming option if you need additional depth for the latter slates on Tuesday.
